About UV-Resistant Cooler Covers
UV-resistant cooler covers use stabilizers and reflective coatings to slow fabric breakdown and color fade under direct sun. They are essential for rooftop units and southwest exposures where untreated polyester fails in two seasons or less.

Frequently Asked Questions
With 600D UV-stabilized fabric and proper tie-down, expect 4–6 seasons on rooftop exposure. Sheltered wall units last longer.
Not required but recommended for horizontal top panels. Side faces can use standard gray or beige with UV stabilizer in the coating.
A reflective top lowers cabinet surface temperature versus bare metal or dark fabric, reducing heat soak between cycles.
