Common Cooler Cover Sizing Mistakes

Hem binds on casters, corners gape, or you ordered pad width instead of cabinet size — five measurement errors that cause most returns.

Problem: Cover Arrived "Correct Size" But Won't Fit

Returns usually trace back to how the unit was measured — not the chart. Pad dimensions, inside cabinet depth, and catalog "unit size" labels are all smaller than the outside outline the cover must wrap.

Five Mistakes → Fix

  • Measured pad area, not outside cabinet → remeasure widest W×D×H
  • Forgot casters (add 3–6") → include floor-to-highest-point height
  • Between chart rows and sized down → always size up; drawcord takes slack
  • Side-draft cover on down-draft unit (or reverse) → match profile to intake location
  • One size for three models → one row per model in your dimension table

Quick Fit Check Before You Call It Done

  • Hem sits below lowest louver — not above casters
  • No fabric stretched drum-tight over hose ports
  • All intake panels sealed with no visible gaps at corners
  • Drawcord or strap engaged under frame, not floating at mid-panel
